Weddings by Dan    -Rev. F Daniel Latour

A Lafayette native, "Rev. Dan" has been officiating and assisting in wedding planning while maintaining a counseling and teaching ministry over 20 years.  Couples rely on his expertise and professional yet easy-going manner, his extra help and calming influence just before the ceremony. 

A Minister of the non-denominational Church of Practical Theology, he has assisted people from various religious and non-religious backgrounds from all over the world through transpersonal (total-self) counseling and therapies.

A respected authority on belief systems and philosophy, most of his work focuses on personal growth, recognizing conflicting beliefs, and spiritual awareness through development of a personal code to allow beneficial changes to enhance the total life experience. He is a frequent guest speaker regarding Love, marriage and relationships, belief systems, philosophy, recovery issues, meditation, self-esteem, metaphysical concepts and general personal development.

Weddings - Renewals - Commitments

Rev Dan customizes ceremonies according to the couple's wishes, making it a personal and memorable event. [Elopements by appointment.]

Rehearsal & Wedding Day Direction

Should the need arise, Rev. Dan will act as director for the rehearsal and wedding. Advance booking is required.

Guest Speaking & Workshops

Events are negotiated individually, some with little or no fee depending on details. Frequent topics are Love, Self-esteem, Marriage, Relationships & Sexuality, Healing, Programming, Belief Systems, Metaphysical Concepts, and personal development.

Relationship & Pre-Marital Counseling

Relationship, Pre-Marital and Covenant Marriage counseling are offered.  More information available on request.

Private Counseling & Therapy

Personal, marriage, family or group counseling is available. Please inquire.

Counseling with Hypnotherapy

The donation requested for sessions average $60 per session depending on the nature of the therapy and number of sessions needed (if more than one).

Meditation

Rev. Dan provides informative meditation training for groups or individuals aimed at allowing meditation to be an easy, effective and transformational tool.

These popular evenings are usually in homes where Rev. Dan can speak privately and candidly to any small group on topics chosen by the host or hostess.
